Men’s Basketball Looks For Fourth Straight Win Wednesday At Augsburg Posted on January 28th, 2014 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s basketball team will look for its fourth straight win on Wednesday, Jan. 29th when it travels to Minneapolis for a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) showdown with Augsburg College.  Wednesday’s opening tip is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Gusties are most recently coming off a 49-46 win over Concordia last Saturday in Moorhead.  A free throw by Martin Feddersen with one minute remaining in regulation proved to be the game-winning score in the win.  The Auggies will look to get back on track following back-to-back road losses to St. Thomas (82-70) on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd and St. Olaf (82-63) on Saturday, Jan. 25th.  Gustavus enters Wednesdays match up with a record of 12-5 overall and 9-3 in the MIAC, while Augsburg comes in with a record of 11-6 overall and 7-5 in league play.

Fans can follow all of the action on Wednesday by watching the live video or by following the live stats provided by the Augsburg sports information department.  The Gusties will also be on the radio, as Tom Wheeler will be on hand for the live call, which can be found on FM 95.5 KCHK or on GameCentral.
