St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s basketball team will take to the road this weekend when it travels to Moorhead, Minn., for an MIAC clash with Concordia College on Saturday, Jan. 25th. The Gusties enter the contest with a record of 11-5 overall and 8-3 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers come in with a mark of 8-8 overall and 4-7 in league play. Saturday’s opening tip is set for 3:00 p.m., directly following the women’s game.
Gustavus is most recently coming off a 65-44 win over Hamline on Wednesday night in St. Peter. The Gusties held the Pipers to just 34.8 percent (16-46) shooting for the game on the way to the 21-point win. Concordia enters the weekend after winning two of its last three games. The Cobbers defeated Saint John’s (74-64) last Wednesday before beating Macalester (76-65) a week later.
