Men’s Basketball Returns Home For MIAC Tilt With Hamline Wednesday Posted on January 21st, 2014 by

St. Peter, Minn. – After a pair of games on the road, the Gustavus men’s basketball team returns home on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd to take on Hamline University at Gus Young Court.  The Gusties enter the contest with a record of 10-5 overall and 7-3 in the MIAC, while the Pipers come in with a record of 7-8 overall and 4-6 in the MIAC.  Wednesday’s opening tip is set for 7:30 p.m.

Gustavus heads into Wednesday night most recently coming off an 80-61 win over Saint Mary’s in Winona on Saturday.  Five Gusties scored in double-figures on the way to the 19-point win.  Hamline also enters the contest after an idle day on Monday.  In their most recent outing, the Pipers fell at the hands of St. Olaf by the final score of 69-50 on Saturday in St. Paul.
