Men’s Hockey To Cap First Half Of The Season Against St. Olaf This Weekend

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s hockey team will cap the 2013 calendar year back in MIAC play with a weekend series against St. Olaf College.  The Gusties and Oles will kick off the weekend on Friday, Dec. 6 with a 7:30 p.m. game at the Northfield Ice Arena.  The two squads will then battle it out on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:05 p.m. in Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Gustavus enters the weekend with an overall record of 6-3-1 and an MIAC mark 3-1-0 after going 1-0-1 last weekend at the NCHA/MIAC Thanksgiving Showdown.  St. Olaf comes in with an overall record of 3-6-1 and an MIAC mark of 1-2-1 following a 2-0-0 showing at the NCHA/MIAC Thanksgiving Showdown.  The Gusties sit in a tie for second place in the league standings with nine points, while St. Olaf is currently tied for fifth with four points.
