Women’s Hockey Climbs To No. 5 In Latest USCHO.com Poll Posted on November 25th, 2013 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s hockey team climbed to No. 5 in the latest USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Poll, which was released Monday.  The Gusties, ranked No. 6 in last week’s poll, jumped back in front of UW-Superior after sweeping Hamline University last weekend.  Gustavus is now 5-1-1 overall and 4-0-0 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season.

The top four spots remained unchanged this week with Plattsburgh ranking first, Middlebury second, Norwich third, and Elmira fourth.  Gustavus is once again the only team to represent the MIAC in the top 10.  This week marks the 66th straight week the Gusties have been ranked in the USCHO.com poll.

Gustavus will be idle this weekend before getting back into action on Friday, Dec. 6th, against St. Olaf at Don Roberts Ice Rink.
