Football Opens MIAC Play At Augsburg Saturday Posted on September 20th, 2013 by

GA FlipAugsburgThe Gustavus Adolphus football team is set to open Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play on Saturday, Sept. 21st when it travels to Minneapolis for a 1:00 p.m. match up with Augsburg College.  The Gusties enter Saturday coming off a season-opening 28-21 victory over Simpson College on Saturday, Sept. 14th and carry an overall record of 1-0 on the year.  Prior to being idle last weekend, the Auggies opened the season with a 51-17 win over Concordia (Wis.) on Saturday, Sept. 7th and also bring an overall record of 1-0 to the contest.
