St. Peter, Minn. – Gustavus Adolphus head women’s soccer coach Laura Burnett-Kurie has announced the dates of the Gustie Women’s Soccer Summer Camps set to take place in early in June and July. The High School Girls Camp aimed at athletes grades 9-12 will be held July 7-10, while the Co-Ed Youth Camp for ages 9-14 will take place June 23-27.
Camp features include,
· College level coaches and sessions
· Position specific training and tactical sessions, including goalkeeping training
· Evening games exploring different formations and tactics
· Presentations: injury prevention, nutrition and diet, optimal performance including strength and conditioning and fitness testing, recruitment process and how to maximize player exposure
· Player evaluations upon request
· College players as mentors
