Women’s Hockey Set For NCAA Championship Weekend

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team will travel to Superior, Wis. to take part in the 2013 NCAA Division III Women’s Hockey Championship weekend, hosted by the University of Wisconsin, Superior at Wessman Arena.  A total of four games will be played throughout the weekend.  Friday features a pair of semifinal matchups while Saturday hosts the third place and championship games.

The first semifinal on Friday will be played at 3:30 p.m. between State University of New York, Plattsburgh (26-0-2) and Middlebury College (19-7-2).  The second semifinal is set for 7:00 p.m. and will feature Gustavus Adolphus (27-0-1) and Elmira College (22-5-1).  The winners of Friday’s semifinals will face each other on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in the championship game.  The two losers on Friday will face off in the third place game earlier in the day on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Ticket Information

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at http://www.ncaa.com/championships/icehockey-women/d3.  All tickets purchased will be available at will-call at the Wessman Arena ticket window. No tickets will be mailed prior to the event. All ticket purchases are final.  Ticket prices include $20 for an all session adult pass, $12 for an adult daily pass; $15 for an all session senior citizen pass, $10 for a senior citizen daily pass; $7 for an all session children under 12 pass, and $4 for a daily children under 12 pass.
