St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball team is set to host Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic conference duel on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. on Gus Young Court. Because of St. Thomas’ 66-62 loss to Saint Benedict on Saturday, Gustavus moved back into a tie for first place in the league standings with an MIAC record of 9-1 and an overall mark of 10-3. After spending seven of its first nine games at home, Augsburg began 2013 with four straight road contests. The Auggies are 2-2 over their last four games and are most recently coming off a narrow 61-60 loss to St. Olaf last weekend in Northfield. Augsburg sits in eighth place in the league at 5-8 overall and 3-7 in the MIAC.
Live video and live stats for Wednesday’s game will be provided by the Gustavus Sports Information Department.
