St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to open up it’s home schedule with a pair of non-conference tests against Northern Collegiate Hockey Conference opponents this weekend at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Gusties will take on UW-Stevens Point at 7:05 p.m. on Friday night and No. 1 St. Norbert College at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.
With a pair of victories at the season-opening MIAC Showcase last weekend, Gustavus comes in at 2-0-0 overall. Stevens Point was swept by St. Norbert in its last outing and enters with an overall mark of 1-2-0. The defending NCAA Champion Green Knights have yet to allow a goal through three games, coming in at 3-0-0.
