Men’s Hockey To Host Milwaukee School Of Engineering In First Round Of NCAA Tournament

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team has an opponent and a destination for the first round the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Tournament.  Gustavus will take on the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Wednesday, March 7th at 7:00 p.m. in Don Roberts Ice Rink.

The Gusties are making their sixth total and first appearance in the NCAA Playoffs since earning an at-large bid in the 2009-10 season.  MSOE makes the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the program’s history.

Gustavus earned the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s automatic berth into the tournament after defeating St. Olaf 4-2 on Saturday, March 3rd in St. Peter, Minn.  The Raiders punched their ticket to the dance after edging Adrian 4-3 in the championship game Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association on Sunday, March 4th in Adrian, Mich.
