Gustavus Adolphus senior cross country and track & field athlete Kim Rostvold has been featured on the MIAC Student-Athlete Spotlight this week.  The Spotlight highlights student athletes from across the conference each Tuesday and Thursday.

Rostvold, a native of Grand Rapids, Minn., is set to graduate in May of 2012 with a degree in chemistry.  Rostvold earned a spot on the 2010 All-Region Team after finishing 26th (23:03.7) at the Central Region Meet last season.  Before that, Rostvold also took home All-Conference honors after placing 11th (23:10.8) at the 2010 MIAC Championships.

Along with competing in both cross country and track & field, Kim volunteers as a coordinator for the Elders program and is coach for the Special Olympics.

The Gustavus cross country team will be back on the trail Sept. 30 at the Blugold Invitational held in Eau Claire, Wis.  The race will begin at 4:00 p.m.
