Four members of the Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams competed in the Hamline University Twilight on Wednesday night in St. Paul. Beth Huaer and Brooke Beskau represented the women’s team, while Mark Bartley and Adam Lund competed on the men’s side. No team scores were kept at the meet.
Beth Hauer, a sophomore from Little Falls, Minn., turned in the top Gustavus finish of the night, taking third in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:47.29. Senior Brooke Beskau (Hastings, Minn.) finished behind Hauer in fourth place with a time of 37:56.60 in the 10,000.
Junior Mark Bartley of Blue Earth, Minn. placed sixth in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:07.58. Sophomore Adam Lund (Burnsville, Minn.) rounded out the group by coming in 14th (33:37.38) in the 10,000.
The Gustavus track and field team will host the Drake Alternative Meet on Saturday, April 30 in St. Peter, Minn.
