Men’s Hockey Rallies Late, But Falls To Hamline 3-2
The Gustavus men's hockey team fell 3-2 to Hamline on Saturday in St. Peter, Minn. After the opening goal by the Gusties, Hamline responded with three unanswered goals on their way to the win. The Pipers earn a split in the weekend series, improving to 13-5-5 overall and 8-2-4 in the MIAC. Gustavus falls to 13-8-2 overall and 7-5-2 in the MIAC.
Men’s Basketball Drops Fourth Straight, Loses To St. Thomas 81-70
The Gustavus men’s basketball team suffered its fourth consecutive setback Saturday afternoon with an 81-70 loss to St. Thomas in St. Peter, Minn. Seth Anderson led both teams with a career-high 28 points, but the Gusties were overpowered by a strong effort by the Tommies on both sides of the ball.
Women’s Basketball Falls 65-58 To St. Thomas
The Gustavus women's basketball suffered a 65-58 loss to St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties struggled from the floor, shooting 30.4-percent in the game. Four Gusties scored in double-figures, while St. Thomas' Taylor Young recorded a game-high 18 points. Gustavus falls to 14-9 overall and 13-7 in the MIAC

Swartout Holds In Nets, Men’s Hockey Stuns Hamline 3-1
The Gustavus men's hockey team defeated MIAC leader Hamline 3-1 on Friday night in St. Paul. Goaltender Josh Swartout made 33 saves, and freshmen Shael Hechter, Gustav Bengtson, and Zach May all notched a goal. Gustavus improves to 13-7-2 overall and 7-4-2 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus Women's hockey team defeated Hamline 2-1 in overtime on Friday night in St. Peter. The winning goal was scored by Lindsey Hjelm at the 2:54 mark to move the Gusties to 13-3-3 overall and 9-2-2 in the MIAC.
Women’s Basketball To Sponsor Think Pink Event On Saturday
The Gustavus women’s basketball team is sponsoring a Pink Zone event on Saturday for the Gusties home game against St. Thomas. Coach Mickey Haller and her squad will be asking fans to donate to the Kay Yow Fund to fight breast cancer sponsored by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).

Women’s Basketball Defeats St. Kate’s 77-63, Molly Mathiowetz Scores 1000th Career Point
The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated St. Catherine 77-63 on Wednesday night in St. Paul. Molly Mathiowetz, who scored her 1000th career point in the game, had a game-high 18 points alongside Molly Geske who also added 18. The Gusties improve to 14-8 overall and 13-6 in the MIAC with the victory.
Student Athlete Advisory Board To Collect Food For St. Peter Food Shelf This Weekend
The Gustavus Student Athlete Advisory Board will be collecting non-perishable food and cash donations at the entrance to all Gustie athletics events this weekend to support the local St. Peter Food Shelf. Gustavus women's hockey will play at home on Friday night, followed by men's and women's basketball on Saturday afternoon and men's hockey on Saturday night.
