Men’s Swimming & Diving MIAC Championships Wrap-Up

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team compiled 612 points to finish in third place at the 2011 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships held at the Aquatics Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Women’s Basketball Defeats Bethel 67-63 In First Round Of MIAC Playoffs

The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Bethel 67-63 in the MIAC Playoff Quarterfinals on Tuesday night in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties were led in scoring by Molly Mathiowetz who had 16 points. Gustavus moves on to play #1 seed St. Thomas in the semifinals on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in St. Paul.

The Gustavus men's tennis team turned in three strong performances at the Swanson Tennis Center on Saturday with wins over Saint John's 8-1, St. Olaf 9-0, and Grinnell 7-2. The Gusties extended their win streak to five and improved their season mark to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in MIAC play.

Women’s Nordic Skiing Takes Seventh In NCAA Regional Championship

The Gustavus women’s nordic ski team placed seventh overall in the combined team standings for the NCAA Central Region Skiing Championships held Saturday in Houghton, Mich. The Freestyle and Classic races were both held on the same day due to blustery conditions that hit the competition site on Friday with winds in excess of 40 miles per hour.

Men’s Nordic Skiing Captures Fifth At NCAA Central Region Championship

The Gustavus men’s nordic ski team placed fifth overall at the NCAA Central Region Skiing Championships held Saturday in Houghton, Mich. Due to heavy winds in excess of 40 miles per hour, the Classic and Freestyle races of the season's final NCAA qualifier took place on the same day with the Gusties securing fifth in both events in the nine-team field.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Wins 2011 MIAC Championship

The Gustavus women's swimming and diving team won it's fourth MIAC Championship in five years after scoring 792 points at the 2011 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships held in the Aquatics Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College.
