Women’s Hockey Keeps Rolling With 3-0 Win At Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus women's hockey team clinched at least a share of its seventh consecutive MIAC regular season title with a 3-0 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday afternoon in Winona. Meagan Wanecke scored twice to lead the Gusties over the Cardinals.

Mitch Carlson’s Overtime Goal Gives Men’s Hockey 5-4 Victory Over Saint Mary’s

Senior Mitch Carlson scored the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Gustavus men's hockey team a 5-4 overtime victory over Saint Mary's on Saturday night in St. Peter. The Gusties were able to battle back from deficits of 3-0 and 4-1 in the contest. Gustavus finishes the regular season 14-9-2 overall and 8-6-2 in the MIAC.

Men’s Basketball Coach Mark Hanson Picks Up 400th Career Win

Gustavus Head Men's Basketball Coach Mark Hanson became the 65th coach in NCAA Division III history to reach 400 wins on Saturday afternoon when the Gusties defeated Saint Mary's 89-78 at Gus Young Court in St. Peter. His all-time record is now 400-176 (576 games) for a .695 winning percentage.

Seniors Brittany Holm and Molly Mathiowetz were honored as a part of Senior Day before the game. 

Women’s Basketball Takes Season Finale 77-70 Over Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus women's basketball team defeated Saint Mary's 77-70 in the season finale on Saturday afternoon on Gus Young Court. The Gusties finish the season in fourth place in the conference with an overall record of 16-9 and a MIAC mark of 15-7.

Anderson’s 26 Points Leads Men’s Basketball Past Saint Mary’s 89-78

The wait was a bit longer than the Gusties would have liked, but the Gustavus men's basketball team presented Head Coach Mark Hanson his 400th career victory on Saturday afternoon by defeating Saint Mary's 89-78 at Gus Young Court in St. Peter.

Men’s Swimming & Diving In Third Place After Day Two At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team fell one spot into third place after scoring 237 points in day two of competition at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Remains In First After Day Two At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's swimming and diving team is currently in first place with 505 points after day two of competition at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships.

Ryan Johnson had one goal and one assist in Gustavus' 4-3 loss to Saint Mary's on Friday night. Johnson now has six points in the past six games. 

Men’s Hockey Downed By Strong Saint Mary’s Second Period, Falls 4-3

The Gustavus men's hockey team was done in by a four-goal second period by Saint Mary's on Friday night in Winona, Minn. Ryan Johnson and Ross Ring-Jarvi both had a goal and an assists in the loss. Gustavus falls to 13-9-2 overall and 7-6-2 in the MIAC.

Danielle Justice Wins 40th, Women’s Hockey Defeats Saint Mary’s 4-2

The Gustavus women's hockey team scored three power play goals and held on to win 4-2 on Friday night in St. Peter. The Gusties were led by Amanda Cartony, as she stretched her hot streak to six goals in the last four games. Danielle Justice picked up her 40th career win in goal for Gustavus.

Gustavus blueliner Matt Schugel will be one of five seniors honored as a part of Senior Night Saturday against Saint Mary's.  This group of seniors has gone 6-1-0 against the Cardinals in their careers. 

Men’s Hockey To Close Regular Season With Series Against Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus men's hockey team is set to bring a close to the 2010-11 season with an away/home series against Saint Mary's University.
