The Gustavus men's hockey team defeated St. Olaf 5-2 in the MIAC season opener on Friday night in Northfield, Minn. Gustavus improves to 4-1-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 2-3-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the MIAC.

Women’s Hockey Opens League Play With 2-1 Win Over St. Olaf

The Gustavus women's hockey team jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Jess Harren and Allie Schwab in the first period and then held on for a 2-1 win over St. Olaf on Saturday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. The Gusties, who are now 3-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in MIAC play, will travel to Northfield to play the Oles tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm.

Senior Day Showdown, Gustavus Set To Face Carleton In 2010 Season Finale

The Gustavus Adolphus football team will take on Carleton in the 2010 season finale on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1:00pm in St. Peter, Minn. The game is designated as Senior Day, as a special tribute will be made to the 19 seniors whom have devoted themselves to the Gustavus football program for the last four years.

Gustavus Adolphus sophomore swimmer Sarah Hund has been named MIAC Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for her efforts against St. Cloud State University last Saturday in St. Peter, Minn.

The Gustavus women's hockey team opened its 2010-11 season with a convincing weekend sweep of Concordia University in Mequon, Wis. The Gusties claimed a 5-0 win on Friday night and then posted a 6-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Men’s Swimming & Diving Suffers 186-114 Loss To St. Cloud State

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team fell 186-114 to St. Cloud State University in the home opener on Saturday afternoon in the Lund Center Natatorium. The Gusties tallied 17 top three finishes and six event wins at the meet. Whitaker Davis was the top Gustavus performer of the meet, contributing two wins and one second place finish.

Strong Third Period Propels Men’s Hockey Team To 2-0 Win Over UW-River Falls

The Gustavus men's hockey team improved to 3-1-0 on the season with an exciting 2-0 win over UW-River Falls on Saturday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. Third period goals by Ross Ring-Jarvi and Gustav Bengtson and some clutch goaltending by Tyler Venne allowed the Gusties to slip past the Falcons.

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team fell to St. Cloud State University 209-91 in the home opener on Saturday afternoon in the Lund Center Natatorium. The Gusties tallied 13 top three finishes at the meet, as Alissa Tinklenberg was the top Gustavus swimmer of the meet.

Football Falls 17-14 On The Road To Augsburg

The Gustavus football team suffered a heartbreaking 17-14 loss at the hands on Augsburg on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis. With the loss, Gustavus falls to 3-6 overall and 2-5 in the MIAC, while Augsburg improves to 4-5 overall, and 2-5 in the MIAC.
