Phil Wirtjes stole an Augsburg pass with 0:10 seconds on the clock and went coast-to-coast for a layup to give Gustavus the win and berth into the MIAC Playoff Championship game.

Gustavus Adolphus women’s swimming and diving coach Jon Carlson has been named MIAC Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year. Carlson guided the Gusties to their third MIAC Championship in four years on Saturday, as the 2010 MIAC Champion Gusties compiled 744 points to edge out defending champion Carleton.
