Katie Schenfeld Named MIAC Golfer of the Week For The Third Time This Spring

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Katie Schenfeld (Indianola, Iowa) earned MIAC Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this Spring after claiming medalist honors at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire last weekend.

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Katie Schenfeld (Indianola, Iowa) earned MIAC Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this Spring after claiming medalist honors at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire last weekend. Schenfeld fired rounds of 77 and 76 to win the individual title by two strokes with her 36-hole total of 153. The #2-ranked Gusties finished off a dominating spring season by winning the UW-Eau Claire Invite by 20 strokes.

Gustavus, which has won all four tournaments it has competed in this Spring will next compete at the NCAA Championships, which will take place at Mission Inn Resort in Howey in the Hills, Florida on May 11-14.
