MIAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Co-Coach of the Year Dale Bahr

Gustavus Adolphus head women’s track and field coach Dale Bahr was named 2010 MIAC Women’s Indoor Track and Field Co-Coach of the Year on Thursday.  Bahr shares the honor with St. Thomas head coach Joe Sweeney, who’s team won it’s 64th MIAC Title.  In his first season as head coach of the Gusties, Bahr’s squad finished runner-up at the conference meet, as the Gusties were unable to hold a one point lead on the Tommies heading into the final day of competition.

The Gustavus women’s indoor track and field team recorded five individual titles and 17 top five finishes at the 2010 MIAC Championships.  Kaelene Lundstrum, Janey Helland, and Sam Broderius will represent Gustavus at the 2010 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships being held in Greencastle, Ind. on March 12-13.
