Men’s Hockey Falls To UW-Eau Claire 3-1 Posted on November 7th, 2009 by

The Gustavus men’s hockey team never got on track in a 3-1 loss at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday night.  The Blugolds scored a goal in each period on their way to claiming the win.  The Gusties lone goal was a short-handed goal by Ross Ring-Jarvi midway through the third period.

UW-Eau Claire out-shot Gustavus 39-31.  The Gusties were 0-for-7 on the power play.

Tyler Venne suffered the loss in the nets for Gustavus. He registered 36 saves and allowed three goals.

Gustavus and UW-Eau Claire are now both 2-2 overall this season.
