Karen Maus scored for Gustavus with just under two minutes left in regulation play to tie the score at 1-1 and force an overtime session with St. Catherine on Saturday afternoon. Neither team was able to score in two 10 minute overtimes and the result was a 1-1 tie. The Gusties are now 6-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in conference play.
Chelsea Bayer played all 110 minutes in the nets for Gustavus making six saves and allowing one goal. The Gusties out-shot the Wildcats 22-14 in the contest.
Gustavus will play Macalester in St. Paul on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
