The Gustavus women’s soccer team saw its three-match win streak come to an end with a 1-0 loss to Concordia in Moorhead on Saturday afternoon. The Cobbers Sam Johnson scored on a breakaway in the 59th minute for the only goal of the match. Goalkeeper Chelsea Bayer made five saves for the Gusties. Gustavus falls to 5-2-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the MIAC.
Concordia held a 14-3 advantage in shots and 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. The Cobbers are ranked #22 in the most recent NSCAA Division III Coaches Poll.
