Men’s Tennis Splits Squad To Defeat Kalamazoo And Wartburg Posted on April 19th, 2009 by

The tenth-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team posted a pair of wins over 21st-ranked Kalamazoo College 8-1 and Wartburg College 6-3 with split squads. The Gusties, who had not played a match in 10 days, faced Kalamazoo in Milwaukee, Wis. and Wartburg in Waverly, Iowa. Both wins improved Gustavus’ overall record to 21-8 for the program’s 15th consecutive 20-win season. The Gusties end conference play and the regular season on Saturday, April 25 against Macalester at 9:30 a.m. and St. Thomas at 2 p.m. in St. Paul.
