Men’s Tennis Falls To Hawaii Pacific University 8-1

The Gustavus men’s tennis team fell to Division II Hawaii Pacific University 8-1 on Saturday in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Gusties picked up their lone point at #2 doubles with seniors Charlie Paukert (Grand Forks, N.D./Central) and Ben Tomasek (Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul) defeated Hendrik Bode and Sebastian Bader 8-4. Gustavus resumes action on Saturday, February 14 when it faces St. Cloud State University, Minnesota State University, Mankato, and Concordia.

6. Alexsander Markov (HPU) defeated David Koppel (GA) 6-4, 6-3

2. Paukert/Ben Tomasek (GA) defeated Bode/Bader (HPU) 8-4
3. Markov/Anton Samuilau (HPU) defeated Nick Hansen/Eric Ice (GA) 8-2
