Men’s Tennis Opens Season With 7-2 Loss to Brigham Young — Hawaii in Honolulu

The Gustavus men’s tennis team opened its 2009 season with a 7-2 loss to Division II Brigham Young-Hawaii in Honolulu. The Gusties picked up two points in the match as Peter Wright (Fy., Dubuque, Iowa/Wahlert) defeated Brian Baker at #6 singles 6-1, 6-1 and Kevin Stickney (Sr., Orono, Minn.) and Nick Hansen (Sr., Duluth, Minn./East) defeated Romeo Juhasz and Brian Baker at #3 doubles 8-4. The Gusties will play Hawaii Pacific in Honolulu on Saturday.

#6 Peter Wright (GAC) defeated Brian Baker 6-1, 6-1
