Women’s Tennis Finishes Fourth At Midwest Invitational After 5-4 Losses To Denison and Washington (MO)

The Gustavus women's tennis team finished in fourth place at the Midwest Invitational after suffering a pair of heartbreaking 5-4 losses to sixth-ranked Denison University and 24th-ranked Washington University-St. Louis on Saturday in Madison, Wis. Gustavus dropped to 13-8 overall after finishing the weekend with a 1-2 record.

Women’s Golf Leads Field After First Day Of The Wartburg Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team shot 329 to lead the field of eleven teams after the first day of the Wartburg Invitational at the par-72 Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday. Wisconsin-Eau Claire finished the day at 335, six strokes behind the Gusties, while Illinois Wesleyan shot 337. Rachel Roberg, who is tied for second place individually, paced Gustavus with a score of 80.

Baseball Doubleheader At St. Olaf Postponed, Rescheduled For Sunday

The Gustavus baseball doubleheader at St. Olaf scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to poor field conditions and rescheduled for Sunday at 1 pm. The Gustavus at Concordia doubleheader that had been rescheduled for Sunday has been postponed but the time and date is unkown at this time.

Softball Splits Opening MIAC Doubleheader Against Augsburg

The Gustavus softball team split its first MIAC contests of the season against Augsburg College after winning the first game 7-2 and losing the second game 9-4 on Saturday afternoon in Minneapolis. Defensive miscues were the story of both games as the Gusties scored five unearned runs in the first game and the Auggies scored five unearned runs in the second game. Gustavus dropped to 11-3 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC, while Augsburg improved to 9-15 overall and 5-1 in league play.

Men’s Tennis Team Defeats MSU, Mankato 9-0

The Gustavus men's tennis team defeated MSU, Mankato 9-0 in a match played at Gustavus on Saturday morning. The Gusties dropped only one set in the entire match on their way to a convincing victory. Gustavus is now 19-5 on the season.

Men’s Tennis Stays Unbeaten In MIAC Play with 9-0 Win At Hamline

The Gustavus men's tennis team improved to 6-0 in MIAC play with a convincing 9-0 win at Hamline on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties won each match in straight sets and posted their seventh shutout of the season.

Start Time Of Baseball Doubleheader With St. Olaf Moved To 2:30 PM

The Gustavus baseball team is scheduled to play St. Olaf on Saturday, April 5 in Northfield. The original start time was 1:00 pm, but the new start time is 2:30 pm. Their will also be an announcement on the Gustavus website at 11:30 am on Saturday morning as to whether the St. Olaf field is playable. Please check back on Saturday morning to verify if the games will be played.

Women’s Tennis Defeats Wheaton 5-2 At Midwest Invitational

On a sunny day in Madison, Wis., the 13th-ranked Gustavus women's tennis team defeated 25th-ranked Wheaton (IL) 5-2 in the second round of the Midwest Invitational, as the Gusties earned a first-round bye in the tournament. Gustavus, which is now 13-6 overall, will face sixth-ranked Denison at the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wis. on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. followed by a match at 2:30 p.m. regardless of the outcome of the morning match.

Softball Doubleheader Versus Augsburg Moved To Minneapolis; Webcast Available For Games

The schedule changes continue for the Gustavus softball team as Saturday's doubleheader versus Augsburg College have been moved from St. Peter to Minneapolis. Games will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field on the campus of Augsburg College. The Augsburg athletic department will also be providing a webcast of tomorrow's doubleheader. Softball Doubleheader Against St. Catherine Postponed

The Gustavus softball team's doubleheader with the College of St. Catherine scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. has been postponed due to poor weather conditions. The make-up date is set for Wednesday, April 30 at 4:00 p.m. The team's next doubleheader is scheduled to be played in Winona against Saint Mary's on Sunday at 1 p.m.
