The Gustavus women’s cross country team ended its season with a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Central Region Meet held in Northfield, Minn. on Saturday. The Golden Gusties compiled 324 points to finish 17 points behind 13th-place Concordia (MN). Luther College won the meet with a score of 87.

Individually, no Gustie female qualified for the NCAA national meet as Sarah Bernhardson (Sr., Eden Prairie, Minn.) was the top Gustavus finisher with a 24th-place finish in 23:14 for her second consecutive all-region honors. Bernhardson finished in 26th-place last year at the region meet. Other finishers included Laura Edlund (Sr., Forest Lake, Minn.) finishing 59th in time of 23:57, Megan Lundgren (Fy., Mankato, Minn.) finishing 63rd in a time of 24:02, Kate Reins (Fy., Osseo, Minn.) finishing 84th in a time of 24:24, Sarah Willis (Sr., Willmar, Minn.) finishing 94th in a time of 24:35, Brooke Beskau (Fy., Hastings, Minn.) finishing 105th in a time of 24:54 and Kelly Chaudoin (Jr., Ely, Minn.) finishing 112th in a time of 25:02.
