Former Gustavus tennis standout Eric Butorac (Class of 2003) teamed with partner Jaime Murray (Great Britain) to defeat Oscar Hernandez (Spain) and Potito Starace (Italy) 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 in a first round match at The Championships at Wimbledon in London, England on Thursday afternoon (Thursday night in London). Butorac and Murray, who are currently rated #14 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Rankings, will now face Jonathan Erlich (Israel) and Andy Ram (Israel) on Saturday.

Erlich and Ram, who are seeded seventh, defeated Alex Kuznetzov (USA) and Mischa Zverev (Germany) 7-6, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 on Thursday.
