Hailey Harren (Sr., Cold Spring, Minn.) was named MIAC Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week after she raced to a new St. Olaf Invitational meet record last Saturday, winning the 6K race in 21:52. Harren, the defending NCAA Division III National champion, won by more than a minute and a half over her nearest competition. She helped her squad to a sixth place finish out of 19 teams.

Harren, who also won two weeks ago at the UW-River Falls Invitational, has now finished first individually in eight of nine races she has competed in over the past two seasons. At this weekend’s Griak Invite at the University of Minnesota, she will try to capture the only title that eluded her last year.
