The Gustavus women’s Nordic ski team wrapped up its 2006 season with a third-place team finish at the Central Collegiate Ski Association Regional Championships last weekend (Feb. 17-18) hosted by Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Mich. The Gusties (108 points overall) finished behind Alaska-Fairbanks (146) and Northern Michigan (137). Gustavus picked up third place finishes in both the Classic and Freestyle disciplines, as Alaska-Fairbanks swept both team races, followed closely by Northern Michigan.
