Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Jered Hokenson (Watertown, Minn.) compiled 5612 points to place fourth in the MIAC Decathlon on Friday, May 7. Hokenson won the high jump and the 110-meter hurldes.

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Blythe Bittman (Fairmont, Minn.) compiled 3709 points and placed seventh overall in the MIAC Heptathlon. Bittman set a new MIAC Heptathlon record in 200-meter dash with a time of 25.54.

Baseball Team Sweeps Hamline 6-2, 6-1, Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive

The Gustavus baseball team kept its playoff hopes alive with a 6-2, 6-1 sweep of Hamline at Midway Stadium in St. Paul on Wednesday afternoon. The Gusties, who are 18-17 overall and 10-8 in the MIAC, have now won eight of their last 11 games.
