Women’s Golf Completes First Round at State Championships

The Gustavus women's golf team recorded a first-round score of 343 at the Minnesota Women's Collegiate Golf Association Championships on Saturday. Kelli Groff leads the Gusties with an 18-hole score of 81. The tournament is taking place at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn.

Men’s Track & Field Places Seventh at Carleton Relays

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's track and field team recorded 61.3 points to place seventh out of 16 teams at the Carleton Relays on Saturday, April 23 in Northfield, Minn. Gustavus' Tanner Miest won 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.14.

Baseball Doubleheader with St. Olaf Moved to Sunday, April 24

The Gustavus baseball team's doubleheader with St. Olaf scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 pm has been moved to Sunday, April 24 due to cold and windy conditions in St. Peter. The start time will once again be 1:00 pm.

Men’s Tennis Defeats Luther 9-0

The Gustavus men's tennis team defeated Luther College 9-0 at the Swanson Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties, who did not drop a set in the match, improve to 21-3 on the season.

Women’s Track & Field Competes at Manitou Classic

The Gustavus Adolphus College Women's track and field team competed at the Manitou Classic at St. Olaf College in Northfield on Saturday. No team scores were kept at the meet. Hailey Harren won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:21.52.

Women’s Tennis Defeats Bethel 9-0

The Gustavus women's tennis team stayed perfect in MIAC play with a 9-0 win over Bethel University on Saturday afternoon in Arden Hills, Minnesota. The Gusties improved to 8-0 in the MIAC and 24-2 overall with the victory. Coach Jon Carlson's squad did not lose a set in the match.

Softball Strengthens Bid for Playoffs With Sweep of Carleton

The Gustavus women's softball team solidified its playoff position by sweeping Carleton 8-0, 8-0 in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon. Both games were shortened to five innings due to the eight-run rule. Gustavus improves to 19-13 overall and 13-3 in the MIAC.

Hokenson Named MIAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Jered Hokenson (Watertown, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Hokenson won the high jump by clearing a height of 6' 8" at the Lee Krough Invite this past weekend, which tied a 40-year old school record.

Softball Team Splits With #5 Saint Thomas

The Gustavus women's softball team split a doubleheader with #5 Saint Thomas on Wednesday afternoon in Saint Paul. The Gusties lost game one 2-0, but then won game two 3-2.
