Men’s Golf Set to Make 21st Consecutive NCAA Championships Appearance

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's golf team has been selected to participate in the 2005 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships. This will be the 21st consecutive appearance in the national meet for the Gusties, which is the third longest active streak in men's golf behind Skidmore (28) and Methodist (25).

Softball Team Clinches Playoff Spot with Sweep of Augsburg

The Gustavus softball team clinched a playoff spot by sweeping Augsburg 5-0 and 8-3 on a cold and blustery Wednesday afternoon in St. Peter. The Gusties are now 21-13 overall and 15-3 in the MIAC.

Jon Hagedorn Named Co-MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Jon Hagedorn (Blue Earth, Minn.) and Saint John's University junior Kyle Fredrickson (Eagan,Minn.) have been named Co-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week.

Baseball Sweeps Macalester 3-2, 14-3 to Stay in Playoff Hunt

The Gustavus baseball team jumped back into the thick of the MIAC Playoff chase by sweeping Macalester 3-2 (9 innings) and 14-3 in St. Peter on Wednesday evening. The Gusties, who got strong pitching performances from Ricky Sabo in game one and Matt Musta in game two, improved to 14-16 overall and 8-8 in the MIAC.

Gustavus Track & Field Set to Host Drake Alternative Saturday, April 30

The Gustavus Adolphus College track & field teams will host the Drake Alternative on Saturday, April 30 in St. Peter, Minn. The meet will feature NCAA Division I, II, and III track & field programs.

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Kourtney Joyce (Wadena, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

Women’s Tennis Claims Regular Season Title with 9-0 Win Over Carleton

The Gustavus women's tennis team defeated Carleton College 9-0 on Friday in Burnsville. With the win, the Gusties improve to 10-0 in the MIAC, and clinch the #1 seed for the MIAC Championship, which will be played this weekend.

Baseball Team Battles for Doubleheader Split With St. Olaf

The Gustavus baseball team team rallied from an 8-1 deficit to claim a 9-8 win in game two of the doubleheader with St. Olaf on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter. The Oles won game one 5-3. Ben Eklo was the winning pitcher in game two for the Gusties.

Women’s Golf Places Fourth at MWCGA State Championship

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's golf team compiled a 36-hole score of 343-334--677 to place fourth out of 13 teams at the Minnesota Women's Collegiate Golf Association State Championship. Kelli Groff earned all-state honors and head coach Scott Moe was named coach of the year.

Men’s Golf Wins Saint John’s Invite

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's golf team won the Saint John's University Invitational on Sunday, April 24. The Gusties compiled a 36-hole score of 292-287--579 at the Monticello Country Club. Gustavus' Jon Hagedorn earned individual medalist honors with a score of 72-67--139.
