The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team finished third at the MIAC Championships which were held at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis. The Gusties won four individual event titles and three relay titles.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team held off a late Saint John’s rally to win its school record 16th straight MIAC regular season game 82-73 at Gus Young Court in St. Peter Saturday afternoon. Doug Espenson recorded 29 points and nine rebounds in the game.

Mike Hosfield scored a goal for the Gustavus men’s hockey team at 11:34 of the third period to tie Saint Thomas 4-4 at Don Roberts Rink in St. Peter Friday night. The Gusties went on to tie the Tommies 4-4 after a scoreless overtime period.
