The Gustavus gymnastics team claimed a WIAC dual meet win over UW-Stout on Monday night in St. Peter. Ashley Erickson recorded the top score of the meet for the Gusties with a total 9.25 on the vault. Gustavus is now 1-1 in dual meets in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.

The Gusties scored 44.15 on the vault, 43.725 on the uneven bars, 43.20 on the balance beam, and 44.675 on the floor exercise. The 43.725 on the uneven bars was a season best for the Gusties. Individually, Ashley Erickson finished first on the vault with a score of 9.25, Amanda Parker finished first on the uneven bars with a 9.10, Dana Ryerson placed second on the balance beam with a 9.10, and Therese Gay finished first on the floor exercise with a score of 9.10.

Gustavus will travel to the University of Minnesota on Saturday to take part in The Best of Minnesota meet. The three team meet, which starts at 7:00 pm, will include the University of Minnesota, Gustavus and Hamline University.
