Women’s Nordic Skiing Ends 2005 Season at Regional Championships

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's Nordic ski team ended its season at the CCSA Central Regional Championships on February 19-20. The Gusties compiled 128 team points to place third out of nine teams. The championships were hosted by Michigan Technological Institution at the Tech Trails in Houghton, Michigan.

 

Men’s Nordic Ski Teams Ends 2005 Season at Regional Championships

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's Nordic ski team ended its 2005 season at the CCSA Central Regional Championships on February 19-20. The Gusties compiled 84 team points and placed sixth out of eight teams.

Eleven Gustavus Men’s Swimmers Earn MIAC All-Conference Honors

The Gustavus men's swimming and diving team recently claimed its fourth consecutive MIAC Title and 18th in school history. Gustavus had 11 different individuals earn all-conference honors at the conference meet.

Nine Gustavus Women’s Swimmers Earn MIAC All-Conference Honors

The Gustavus Adolphus College women's swimming and diving team had nine student-athletes earn all-conference honors at the 2005 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships.

Senior Joe Ulwelling Named MIAC Men’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus senior forward Joe Ulwelling (Warroad, Minn.) was named the MIAC Men's Hockey Player of the Week. Ulwelling recorded five assists in the conference series split with Augsburg College this past weekend.

Men’s Tennis Team Defeats Redlands 6-1 to Finish Third at ITA Indoor Championships

The Gustavus men's tennis team defeated the University of Redlands 6-1 to finish third at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Indoor Team Championship which was held in the Swanson Tennis Center on the Gustavus campus.

Men’s Basketball Team Set to Host Lawrence University in NCAA Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College men's basketball team will host Lawrence University of Appleton, Wisconsin in a first round NCAA Tournament game on Thursday, March 3. The game will start at 7:00 pm.

Men’s Tennis Team Loses 4-3 to #1 Emory in the Semifinals of the ITA Indoor Championships

The Gustavus men's tennis team suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to #1 seed Emory in the semifinals of the Division III Indoor Championships being held at the Swanson Tennis Center on the Gustavus campus. The Gusties will now play Redlands for third place.

Women’s Hockey Team Falls to St. Thomas 2-1 in Regular Season Finale

The Gustavus women's hockey team had its 33-game MIAC winning streak snapped with a 2-1 loss to St. Thomas at the Tommies rink in Mendota Heights. The Gusties had clinched the MIAC regular season title with a 6-3 win over the Tommies on Friday night.

Men’s Basketball Advances to NCAA Tournament With 68-58 Win Over Saint Thomas

The Gustavus men's basketball team advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fifth consecutive season after beating Saint Thomas 68-58 in the MIAC Championship game in St. Peter Saturday night. Doug Espenson led the Gusties with 30 points.
