Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore defender Andrea Peterson (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Hockey Player of the Week for November 15-21. Peterson recorded three goals and three assists in two wins over Hamline this past weekend. She tallied two goals and an assist on Friday night to help defeat the Pipers 7-0 in St. Paul, Minn. The sophomore scored one goal and assisted on two others on Saturday night to defeat the Pipers 8-0 in St. Peter, Minn. Peterson leads the team in scoring this season with four goals and five assists for nine points. The Gusties improved to 3-0-1 overall and are currently ranked sixth in the most recent USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll.
