The Gustavus women’s cross country team hosted St. Olaf in an unscored meet on Friday afternoon in the Gustavus arboretum. Gustavus senior Nichole Petersen finished first individually with a time of 14:47 over the 4 kilometer course.
Other top finishers for Gustavus included Lydia Davitt in third place (15:13), Tasha Pike in 7th place (15:28), Laura Edlund in 10th place (15:37), Val Berquam in 11th place (15:41), Mollie Lager in 12th place (15:42), Melissa Kittock in 14th place (15:50), Ali Cordie in 15th place (15:54) and Krista Cruse in 16th place (15:55).
Top finishers for St. Olaf included Erin Weier in 2nd place (15:13), Stephanie Block in 4th place (15:14), Kezia Manlove in 5th place (15:21), Lisa Skildum in 6th place (15:26), Jennie Hedberg in 8th place (15:36) and Jenny Ingebritsen in 9th place (15:37).
The two teams will next compete at the MIAC Championships which will take place at Como Park in St. Paul on Saturday, October 30. Gustavus is the defending MIAC Champion.
