The 2004 Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association named two Gustavus Adolophus College players to the Division III All-Midwest Region Team. Sophomore Audrey Lenoch (Pine Island, Minn.) was named to the first team and senior Molly Biehn (Mankato, Minn.) was named to the third team.
Lenoch led the Gusties at the plate with 68 hits, eight home runs and 109 total bases, which are all single season records at Gustavus. The sophomore also set single season records with the second highest batting average in Division III of .544 and the eighth highest slugging percentage in Division III of .872.
Biehn had a solid season at the plate and on the mound for the Gusties. On the mound, she finished the year with an ERA of 2.88 and led the team in four statistical categories. Biehn had a team best 74 strikeouts, 14 complete games, 10 wins and four shutouts. At the plate she compiled a .333 batting average, .532 slugging percentage and .423 on base percentage. She posted 37 hits, drove in 30 runs and led the team in doubles with 13.
Gustavus ended the season with a record of 21-17 overall and placed fourth in the MIAC with a record of 15-7.
