Women’s Golf in Seventh Place after Second Day of National Tournament

The Gustavus women’s golf team fired a team score of 345 (+53) on Wednesday and slipped one place to sixth in the 10-team national tournament in Green Lake, Wisconsin.

The Gustavus women’s golf team fired a team score of 345 (+53) on Wednesday and slipped one place to sixth in the 10-team national tournament in Green Lake, Wisconsin. UW-Oshkosh is in first place with a 36-hole total of 321-326–647 (+63). The Gusties 36-hole total is 333-345–678 (+94).

The top scorer for the Gusties on Wednesday was Kelsey Getz with an 11-over par 84. Kelli Groff and Erin Schliep both fired scores of 86 (+13), while Alana Reetz posted an 89 (+16) and Katie Aplin carded a 92 (+19).

The NCAA DivisionIII Championship will continue with the third round of the 72-hole tournament on Thursday. Gustavus will begin teeing off at 8:00 am.
