The Gustavus women’s tennis team won the 12-team Midwest Invitational by defeating Denison University (Ohio) 6-3 in the championship match. The tournament was held in Madison, Wisconsin. The Gusties, who are now 19-7 overall, are ranked ninth nationally.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams hosted the Lee Krough Invitational on Friday in Saint Peter, Minn. A total of ten teams competed at the meet. In the relays, the women won the 4×100 and the men won the 4×100 and 4×400.

The Gustavus baseball team pushed its win streak to five games with a doubleheader sweep of St. Mary’s on Wednesday afternoon. The Gusties scored 32 runs in the two games (15-5, 17-9) and pounded out 37 hits including 14 doubles and four home runs.
