The men’s tennis team defeated Carleton 8-1 outdoors on Friday afternoon and St. Cloud State 9-0 indoors on Friday night. Both matches were at Gustavus.
The Gusties improve to 19-3 overall and 8-0 in the MIAC. The lone setback in the two matches for Gustavus was at #1 doubles against Carleton where Adam Morgan and Brett Morse-Karzen, who are ranked #4 in Division III, lost to Mike Ottum and Aleks Diamond-Stanic 9-8 (8-6 in the tiebreaker).
Gustavus, which improves to 19-3 overall, will now head to California to play four matches during spring break.
