The MIAC released the top times in men and women’s swimming through February 4 for individual and relay races. The Gustie men and women combine to hold the top times in seven individual races and eight relay races.
The Gustie women hold the top time in three individual races. Beth DeLaRosby (JR, Two Harbors, Minn.) holds the top time for the 50 freestyle (24.33) and the 100 freestyle (54.10). Eva Miller (JR, Sartell, Minn.) holds the top time for the 200 breaststroke (2:30.04).
The Gustie men hold the top time in four individual races. Scott Hagemeyer (FR, Willmar, Minn.) holds the top time in the 50 freestyle (21.41) and the 100 freestyle (47.23). Will Sutor (JR, Fergus Falls, Minn.) holds the top time in the 100 butterfly (51.77) and the 200 butterfly (1:58.60).
The Gustie women also hold the top time in four relay races. Katie Garvey (JR, Fargo, ND), Laura Watkins (FY, Fargo, ND), Eva Miller and Beth DeLaRosby hold the top time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.31). Jessica Coleman (SR, Forest Lake, Minn.), Katie Garvey, Laura Watkins, and Beth DeLaRosby hold the top time in the 400 freestyle relay (3:39.32). Kathryn Haynes (SO, Duluth, Minn.), Eva Miller, Katie Garvey and Beth DeLaRosby hold the top time in the 200 medley relay (1:53.00). Katherine Haynes, Eva Miller, Emily King (SR, Duluth, Minn.), and Laura Watkins hold the top time in the 400 medley relay (4:07.90).
The Gustie men also hold the top time in four relay races. Mike Maynard (SR, St. Paul, Minn.), Evan Christianson (JR, Hutchinson, Minn.), Will Sutor and Scott Hagemeyer hold the top time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:26.91). Kent Kramer (JR, St. Croix, Minn.), Evan Christianson, Will Sutor and Scott Hagemeyer hold the top time in the 400 freestyle relay (3:11.29). Mike Maynard (SR, St. Paul, Minn.), Marc Maynard (SR, St. Paul, Minn.), Will Sutor and Scott Hagemeyer hold the top time in the 200 medley relay (1:36.51). Jeff Pearson (SO, Woodbury, Minn.), Marc Maynard, Will Sutor and Seth Weidman (JR, Village of Stokie, IL) hold the top time for the 400 medley relay (3:36.82).
The Gustie men and women will be competing in the MIAC championships this weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The championships will be hosted at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center February 12-14. The men are in search of their third consecutive team title and the women are in search of their second team title in the history of the program.
