Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball team stays undefeated at home with a victory over St. Catherine’s 99-68. Kristin Kachelmyer led the Gusties in scoring with 21 points. Angie Peterson had 18 points and Lacy Skoog contributed 14 points.

The Gustavus women’s gymnastics team posted a season best score of 183.40 but finished second to host UW-La Crosse (184.650) at the Gershon/McLellan Invitational in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Gustie Amanda Parker won the all-around with a score of 37.875.

The Gustavus women’s gymnastics team will take part in the UW-La Crosse Gershon Invitational on Friday night January 30. The Gershon is one of the premiere Division III Invitational meets in the Midwest. Competition begins at 6:15 pm.

Gustavus Adolphus College fresman Scott Hagemeyer (Willmar, Minn.) posted two wins at the UW-Steven’s Point Invitational last weekend and as a result has been selected as the MIAC Swimmer of the Week for January 19-25.

Ingrid Olson, senior from White Bear Lake, Minn., was named Female Skier of the Week for January 19-25. Olson finished 12th in the 10k classical race and 15th in the 5k freestyle race in the NCAA Qualifying race in Cable, Wisconsin.
