Men’s Cross Country Team Finishes Fifth at St. John’s Invitational

The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed fifth at the St. John’s Invitational on Saturday.

The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed fifth at the eight-team St. John’s Invitational on Saturday in Collegeville, MInnesota. The Gusties finished with 117 points. MSU, Mankato won the 8K competition with 16 points.

Alex Zupan, who came in 26th with a time of 28:39, was the first Gustavus athlete to cross the finish line. Four of his teammates were less than a minute behind, including Dan Westlund, Brent Magnusson, Collin Meierbachtol, and Drew Scanlan. MSU, Mankato’s Quinn Dauer won the race with a time of 26:29.
