MIAC Recognizes 32 Gusties As Fall 2011 Academic All-Conference Honorees

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Fall 2011 Academic All-Conference honorees Wednesday and 32 Gustavus student-athletes were recognized for their strong athletic performances and excellence in the classroom.

Justin Eglseder’s Hat-Trick Lifts Men’s Soccer Past Saint Mary’s 5-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 victory over Saint Mary's on Tuesday night in Winona, Minn. thanks to a hat-trick by senior defender Justin Eglseder. Gustavus improves to 9-1-0 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC, while Saint Mary’s drops to 1-6-1 overall and 0-4 in the MIAC.

Men’s Soccer Slips Past Loras 1-0

Sean Sendelbach's first collegiate goal gave the Gustavus men's soccer team a 1-0 non-conference win over Loras on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The win extended the Gusties unbeaten string to six and improved its overall record to 6-3-3.
