David Martinson tallied his 26th goal of the season at 4:54 in the first period to give the Gusties a 1-0 lead. However, Neumann would go on to score four consecutive goals en route to the win. Gustavus finished its season at 19-11-0.
Patrick Dynan scored two goals including the game-winning goal at 6:31 in overtime to lift the No. 15 Gustavus men's hockey team over No. 2 UW-Stout by a score of 3-2 in the NCAA Semifinals on Friday in Lake Placid, N.Y. The Gusties, who improved their overall mark to 19-10-0, snapped a 15-game unbeaten streak for the Blue Devils. Gustavus advanced to its first ever NCAA Championship game with the victory. The Gustavus women's golf team posted a final round 329 to finish with a 72-hole total of 1316 one stroke ahead of DePauw University (1317) in second place at the NCAA Division III Championship in Howie-In-The-Hills, Florida. The second place national finish is the highest the history of the Gustavus women's golf program.
