Gymnastics Team Posts Season High Score At Gershon Invitational

The Gustavus gymnastics team posted a season high team score of 178.075 at the Gershon Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin La Crosse on Friday evening. Individually, Danielle Thibodeau finished fourth in the all-around with a career high score of 36.450.

The team lines up for introduction of the parent's on Parent's Day. 

Gymnasts Post Season Best Score of 171.650, Finish Third At Gustie Triangular

The Gustavus gymnastics team posted its best team score of the season Saturday afternoon, but finished third out of three teams in the Gustie Triangular. UW-La Crosse won the meet with a team score of 180.950, while the Hamline Pipers took second with 176.325. The host Gusties rounded out the competition with a mark of 171.650.

Danielle Thibodeau Shines As Gymnasts Finish Third At UW-Oshkosh

Gustavus gymnast Danielle Thibodeau turned in a strong performance for the Gustie gymnastics team at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday as the Gusties posted a team score of 163.675 to finish third out of three teams. Thibodeau finished third in the All-Around competition with a total of 34.525.

Gymnasts Return From Training Trip To Barbados

With the wintry and blustery conditions of Minnesota and Gustavus all but forgotten, the Gustavus Gymnastics Team traveled to the hot and humid island of Barbados for a weeklong training trip at the end of December through the beginning of January combining education and service with its training.

Gymnasts Get Off To Slow Start, Drop Dual Meet To UW-Whitewater

The Gustavus gymnastics team came up short in its season opening dual meet against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater by the score of 179.375 to 163.925 in St. Peter on Saturday evening. The Gusties were led by sophomore Danielle Thibodeau who finished second in the all-around with a total of 33.275.

Gustavus Adolphus junior Kelly Mathewson and first year Danielle Thibodeau returned home from competition at the 2010 NCGA Championships held in Blake Arena on the campus of Sprinfield College in Springfield, Mass. on March 26-27.

Gymnastics Concludes Season With Seventh Place Finish At 2010 WIAC Championship

The Gustavus gymnastics team registered 175.275 points to finish in seventh place at the 2010 WIAC Gymnastics Championship held Sunday afternoon on Gus Young Court in St. Peter, Minn. UW-Whitewater took home the 2010 WIAC Championship crown with 185.475 points. UW-La Crosse placed second (183.775), while Winona State University rounded out the top three in third (183.600).

Gustavus Gymnastics Team Set To Host 2010 WIAC Gymnastics Championship

The Gustavus Adolphus gymnastics team is set to host the 2010 WIAC Women's Gymnastics Championship, which will be held on Sunday, March 7, at 3:00 pm in St. Peter, Minn. This will be the 37th WIAC Gymnastics Championship. The event will take place in the Lund Center Forum. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children 10 under and adults 65 and older are free.

Gymnastics Drops Dual To UW-Whitewater 180.74-169.800

The Gustavus gymnastics team fell to a strong UW-Whitewater squad 180.725-169.800 on Saturday afternoon in Whitewater, Wisc. Danielle Thibodeau had the top Gustavus finish of the day by taking second on the vault with a mark of 9.100. UW-Whitewater’s Katie Thompson took first place in the all-around with a score of 37.000.
