Ellen Hofstede (So., Hopkins) and Nolan Larson (Sr., West Des Moines, Iowa) have been selected MIAC Swimmers of the Week for their performances Saturday against Augsburg, Concordia, and Hamline.

Swim & Dive Wins Big in Season Opener
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams hosted Augsburg, Concordia, and Hamline on Saturday for their season opener at Vic Gustafson Pool and came away victorious. In a dual meet structure, the Gustie men defeated Hamline 252-26, while the women defeated Hamline 281-13, Concordia 279-15, and Augsburg 289-5.

2021 Women’s Basketball Season Preview
SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s basketball team opens its 2021 campaign tomorrow when it travels to Augsburg for a 2 p.m. contest after 345 days without playing a game. The Gusties, who lost in the MIAC semifinals to Bethel last season, return three experienced senior veterans as well as an experienced underclassmen lineup.

2021 Swim & Dive Season Preview
The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are set to begin their 2021 season Saturday at home as they host Augsburg, Concordia, and Hamline. The diving portion of the meet begins at 10:30 a.m. and swimming starts at 2 p.m.

After postponing its home game Saturday night against St. Thomas due to COVID-19 test protocols, the Gustavus women’s hockey team will now host Augsburg at 2 p.m. Saturday in a non-conference matchup at Don Roberts Ice Rink.
